Here’s a flyer a made for this site. I was originally going to use it as the background but instead it formed inspiration for the design of this site. Hopefully it gives the N2S feel.

Ok along with the other things i typed in the Hello World! post, we’re also trying to expand the popularisation of a certain favourite greeting term: “Not Too Shabby”. We feel that greetings in offices, shops and what not are all too fleeting and taken for granted. No one really cares they just say it for the sake of saying something In a majority of cases it goes something like this:

Mark: Hi Jane how are you?
Jane: Good thanks. *continues on with whatever it was she was doing*

But if we change it ever so slightly:

Jane: Hi Mark how are you?
Mark: Not too shabby thanks Jane. 
Jane: Would you like to see a movie?
Mark: Sure but i’d rather go straight to your bedroom as i’m on a budget.
Jane: Ok say around 7pm?
Mark: See you then.

See how a little term changed Mark’s entire evening or even life! This could work for you too and we will show you how below:
Usage
Conversations: “Not too shabby” or politely “Not too shabby thanks.”
Email replies: G’day <insert-name>, I’m not too shabby thanks.
SMS/TXT Messages: N2S (not too shabby).
MSN/YIM/AOL/Instant Messaging: N2S.

As you can see there are thousands of ways we can use N2S to make our and our fellow humans days a bit more brighter.

History
“Not too shabby” is my favourite little reply to polite co-workers, shop attendants, taxi drivers and well anyone. It adds a little something to the usual boring greetings but i cannot claim to of come up with it myself, no like all great things i picked it up from someone else. In this case it was from Benny during a dark lonely christmas eve in an Austrian ski village sharing an Austrian single bed is where i contracted N2S. And i’d like to say that i’ve taken it on with great exuberance and hopefully to new heights.

Hello world! How are you?

Not too shabby, i hope. This is the first post from N2S just saying a brief hello to the world and a brief description of the sites purpose.

We (meaning Hutch, Plum, Bubbles, Little One) are not too shabby, we;re the authors of this fabulous little site for now.  The site has three main purposes:

1. To bore you too death with what we deem the creative side of the site, such as my web designs, print designs and photos. Photography not being the strong point but the prettiest so that gets the main feature.

2. To excite you and keep you updated with our travels around the world but predomiantely our big trip to South America, USA and Canada. We also encourage you all to become apart of our trips and vote on what we should do next. This is easily done by clicking on the poll to the right of your screen.

3. To once again bore you with mindless technology and other such drivel that I’ve decided to express to the world.

But why a site? Arent you just showing off? Cant you just use facebook? Yes, boringly yes we can but where’s the fun in building that? And secondly we control and own the content not some private enterprise collecting data on us we’ll leave that to Google for now thanks.

So please kick back grab an ice cream and enjoy the site.
