G’day Folks

This time, we’re off to the north eastern most parts of Argentina. Where Argentina borders with Brazil on the Iguazu River and also a glimpse of Paraguay. The reason, to view the famed Iguazu Falls the worlds widest water falls.

We anticipated we would spend maybe 15mins watching water fall over the edge of a cliff, it ended up being a day long adventure on the Argentinian side of the falls thanks to the spectacular boardwalks that take you close to the edge and right up close to the falls. Plus the mesmerizing nature of the falls. This is our day…

Ok we’re skipping ahead a moment here only because this is fresh in our minds.

A little while ago (in travelling time – which i believe to be an extension of bistro mathematics and a form of time travel. Travelling time doesn’t work on the usual calendar of days, weeks, months but on the observer’s movement through tourist destinations. Confusingly, it has the potential to slow time itself when visiting museums, gift shops and any walking tour. slows down when visiting museums and anything else that maybe boring to the observer. Therefore the measurements used by travellers are relevant to the observer such as a while ago, not too long ago, ages ago etc) Any i digress.

Ben, Vicky, Jess and I took a day trip from Buenos Aires to Tigre. Tigre is a tourist destination popular with both international and local tourists located on the Parana Delta. We went there mostly too keep me entertained as i needed to do something active other than walking, strolling, slow jogging(with a soft j) and any other form of painstakingly moving your legs in alternate directions.

You take a 1 hour train ride from the Retiro(train station) on the 80′style trains whilst local musicians busk for your coins. However after a few too many Malbec’s, schnapps and captain morgan(never go to sea without a captain) the night before ending at 2am the sounds weren’t as appreciated as they should of been.
